We are delighted to be able to re-open High House from Thursday 9 July but as you can imagine it won’t be business as usual and members will not be allowed to stay at High House without a booking.
We are following BMC and the latest government guidance and will publish all the risk assessments, procedures for use, temporary amendment to the High House policy etc in the next few days however we would like to open up the bookings as soon as possible to allow members to make plans.
The hut will be open for long weekend bookings (5pm Thursday to 5pm Monday) each weekend from 9 July to the end of August. We will review future months as we get more information and if regulations change.
The hut will be completely closed for at least 72 hours between bookings (from 5pm on Monday to 5pm on Thursday). If we didn’t follow this guidance, we would need to arrange for someone to go and fully clean the hut between each occupancy.
Bookings will be taken as one group booking for up two households who agree to share High House and maintain social distance from each other and agree to adhere to the rules for the use of High House. As per government guidance support bubbles count as one household. If this guidance changes in future we may be able to allow larger groups.
If you would like to book a weekend at High House please email Hugh Taylor - email@example.com with the following information by noon on Saturday 4th July:
In case of more demand than weekends available we will draw bookings out of a hat and allocate in order.
Thanks on behalf of the committee
